Because of your participation, the Neighborhood Writing Alliance’s 2009 Benefit was a success! Over 180 supporters, activists, writers, and friends of the Neighborhood Writing Alliance (NWA) gathered on Wednesday, May 27th at the Chicago Cultural Center to celebrate community writing and publishing. Our thanks to Rick Kogan, Stuart Dybek, Helena Marie Carnes-Jefferies, and Kenneth Johnson for making the event so spectacular.
