The Neighborhood Writing Alliance generates social change through writing and dialogue. Our writing workshops, serving 300 individuals each year, work to empower writers, build communities, and promote civic engagement. Our writers and readers know they can count on us for meaningful programming year-round. With four rich journals, 35 readings and events, and free weekly workshops, we engage our participants deeply and consistently throughout the year. Will cover six months of duplication costs for 10 workshops that meet each week, including weekly newsletters, writing produced in workshop, writing prompts and models, and evaluation tools.
